Nature and History
It looks like an impressionist painting with its ochre, green and blue spots. A crystalline blue. This is where the Ottoman Turks laid siege to the city of Otranto in 1480. A short walk is needed to reach the Bay and admire it in all its beauty. Near the Baia dei Turchi, there is Alimini beach with its dunes, one of the longest in Salento with the presence of establishments and stretches of free coast and an alternation of light and dark sand.
